If arriving at Rogaro coming from Griante, you will see that there is a path to Monte Nava on your right. This is a hiking trail so you need to be sure that you are wearing the correct footwear as the path is quite rocky and uneven. It will take you approximately 1.5 hours to reach Bocchette di Nava (depending on your level of fitness and walking pace). Once again you will have a superb view over Lake Como.
For the descent, you can either go back the way you came or you can choose to go onto Pilone, Croce and down towards Menaggio (to the north). An alternative route is to go to Bolla di Mezzegra, Val Perlana situated above Lenno (in the direction towards Como). For your own safety make sure that you stick to the path whichever route you choose, it should be marked with a red and white sign with a number 2 written in black.
As with any walk or hike, please ensure that you are properly equipped; map (if you are not great with directions), comfortable clothing and footwear, snacks, water and suncream.
