The stunning Villa Cipressi in Varenna was built between 1400 and 1800. It belonged to the Serponti family around 1163 and changed hands with V.I.P.S throughout the years. It was last owned by the publisher Accame.
In the 1980′s, the villa wasthen purchased through the Municipality and the people of Varenna to be run as a hotel which it still is to date.
The beautiful gardensof the villa with tiered terraces are open to the public.
